Maersk are operating multiple Forward Storage Hubs across major routes to Australia including Spain, Morocco, Oman, Egypt, and Malaysia. These hubs provide customers with the ability to slow down the inflow of cargo, relieving pressure on your storage facilities.
In Australia Maersk have established numerous Inland Storage Locationswithin proximity to the ports of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle.

Following considerable industry lobbying on the issue, including AFIF's participation, MSQ has announced a Queensland Two Port Policy which means that the Port of Brisbane will fall in line with the Federal Government advice on receiving foreign vessels into Australia - WITH THE EXCEPTION OF VESSELS AND CREW FROM CHINA AND SOUTH KOREA (Vessels and crew from these nations will still need to observe the 14 day isolation period until further notice). Australia Closes its Borders to Non-Citizens and Non-Residents – Australians Prohibited from Travelling Overseas
The Prime Minister announced that effective from 25 March 2020 all Australian citizens and permanent residents are prohibited for travel out of Australia unless exempted. This announcement follows last week’s travel ban placed on non-residents and non-citizens coming to Australia, effective 20 March 2020. The decisions have been taken to support measures to tackle the spread of Covid-19 in Australia.
